WBM Update 2006
December 8, 2006This year has really seemed to blown, which, I think, probably says more about me than about the year. God is so good, and His favor and mercy so abundant, and as they say, "Time flies when you're having fun." Well, we're having fun. Hope you are, too. Joy to the WorldListen to our arrangement of "Joy to the World" in MP3 format. Christmas Specials 2006For the month of December we are offering all our books and CDs at a special Christmas savings. November 1, 2006Things have been settling down again at our house. Matt and Sara have been married a month and are learning how to run a household, work a budget, and cook meals together. They have a cute little apartment south of town. Sara is excited about decorating it for Christmas. We miss her being around our house, of course, but are happy to see them launching out with the wisdom of God. In the Tuesday morning Bible study, we are studying the book of Jude and exploring what it means to "grapple" for the faith against all the faith-killers the enemy tries to throw against us. These are mighty men of God that I have the privilege of leading—older men, but men for whom the best is still yet to come. Two Years On With the Faith LogWe are celebrating the second anniversary of our blog, The Faith Log. Since it began, we have written and posted over 550 articles dealing with the issues of prayer, faith, healing and the kingdom of God. They are all indexed by Google, and we have many visitors who come because they were searching for information on one of the many topics we have covered. So far, we have developed one book from the articles, The Faith Log, and will soon be developing another one. We frequently add a few lines to some of the articles, inviting those who would like to receive the Lord Jesus Christ to learn more about it at our main website. We have links leading to a couple of presentations of the good news: Barefoot on the Romans Road and The Most Important Prayer. Notes From Our Friends

October 2, 2006Busy, busy month—blogging the Faith Log, leading Bible study and worship, monthly prayer for the city (along with local pastors and ministry leaders), and also ... The WeddingThis is, of course, the big news of the month. Our daughter, Sara, and her fiancée, Matt, entered together into matrimony on September 22. She is a princess warrior and he is a mighty man of God. It was a beautiful wedding, and we saw the goodness of God all over it. Their first act as a married couple was to take the Table of the Lord, and it was my privilege to serve them. I was a bit weepy, of course, but I managed to get all the words out and also spoke a father's blessing over them. Matt and Sara have just returned from their honeymoon trip and are excited to settle into their cute little apartment as they begin their married life. Holy PassionThis month, I also managed to do the book cover and layout design for Ben Peters' new book, Holy Passion. Ben is a prolific writer and, along with his wife, Brenda, directs Open Heart Ministries. We met Ben and Brenda a few years ago at an annual convening of International Apostolic Ministries, and discovered a similarity in background (Christian and Missionary Alliance), but also a similarity in calling (teaching, writing and "bridging" between people of the Word and people of the Spirit). For the past couple of years, it has been our privilege to be able to partner with Ben and Brenda by designing his books for him. The passion of Ben's heart is very apparent in his writing, especially in his latest books. You can find out more about them here. Notes from our Friends

September 4, 2006We took our vacation in August. We rented a van, piled in with our son, Michael, our daughter, Sara, and her fiancée, Matt, and headed to Myrtle Beach, SC, where we spent a wonderful week at the beach with my mother. We praise God for restoring her to health and strength. Mom has a condo that faces directly toward the beach. It is on the third floor, and it has a loft with a wonderful balcony. Every morning I got up early, got my Bible and headed up to this perch, where I had a wonderful time with the Lord. Saw schools of dolphin a couple of mornings. Saw some seagulls skirting along the shore, occasionally diving into the water for a fish, then bobbling on the water to eat. Also saw something I had never seen before: kite-boarders skipping up along the shore. It was amazing. It inspired one of my blogs entries, Kite-boarding in the Spirit. In just a couple of weeks, on September 22, our daughter is getting married. We are waist-high in materials and preparations for it. The Lord has given me the wisdom to simply say, "Yes, Dear," and do whatever I'm told. Our Tuesday morning Bible study group is growing, and we give the Lord praise for that. These are mighty men of God, and full of faith, and it is a privilege that I not only get to teach, but I get to learn from their wisdom, too. We've Gone LuluThe eBook editions of all our books are now available in PDF format at Lulu.com. This means that you can download them instantly when you order, for quick and easy access. August 1, 2006Yeah, it's hot all over. But we're keeping busy and keeping cool. We always have a good time of prayer, study and fellowship out our Tuesday a.m. Bible study. Going through the book of 1 John, and we don't care how long it takes—we're taking the scenic route and enjoying the company all along the way. Hope you found a shady spot and are enjoying time with the Lord. Healing Testimony at AmazonThis morning as I checked the page for our Healing Scriptures and Prayers book at Amazon, I was delighted to see that someone had left a healing testimony in the book review section: "I ordered this product because I was looking for Scriptures I needed to apply them for the need I had for healing in my body because I was sick. I found just what I was searching for and was dramatically healed in Jesus name. It did not take a long time. In a matter of days before I finished reading the scriptures and praying the prayers included in the book, I was healed. Thank God for the book, author and for Amazon.com for offering this book online!"—I. Morgan Praise God for His healing Word! By the way, if you have enjoyed our book and would like to leave your own review of it at Amazon, it would be most appreciated. Just click here and go down to the bottom of the page to where it says "Customer Reviews." Then click on the link below that which reads "Write an online review." Thanks.

Scriptures and Prayers CD Vol. 4: The Healing Ministry of Jesus

July 1, 2006Summer is here and the year is tumbling head over heels. The fellowship of our Tuesday morning Bible study group has been great. The monthly pastors' luncheon has been wonderful as ministry leaders gather together to pray for our city. It's my privilege to lead those mighty men of God in worship. Also led worship one night for the Robin Thom Rogers meeting, and God really blessed us there. Also taught in the School of the Spirit this month—more about that below. Our daughter's wedding is flying quickly upon us—September 22, with still a lot to do. God bless you big—and us as well! WBM ForumsCome check out our new forums and share your thoughts. Presently, our categories are these:
We will be adding other categories as desired. The web address is: www.walkingbarefoot.com/forums. Come and browse, and if you would like to interact and post something, it is very simple to register. We'll leave the light on for you. The Healing Ministry of JesusThe fourth CD in our Healing Scriptures and Prayers series is now at being manufactured in California. This one features the healing ministry of Jesus—the Gospel accounts of how Jesus healed all who came to Him or were brought to Him. This series of CDs features healing Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments (Vols. 1 & 2), the healing names of God (Vol. 3) and now the healing ministry of Jesus (Vol. 4). Each CD also includes prayers for healing. As your faith is stirred by God's healing Word, these prayers will help you pray these Scriptures back to God and release your faith for healing. We expect to have this final CD in hand by the end of July. For audio samples and ordering information, click here. Teaching CD: The Way Things REALLY AreOne of the ministries of our home church, Revival Outreach Center (Dover, FL), is the School of the Spirit. I recently taught there about the Biblical perspective on the nature and order of reality. The main points included:
These are some of the themes I address in my recent book, God's Word in Your Mouth. We were able to get a good recording of this teaching and are happy to offer it to you on CD. Click here for audio sample and to order your copy. Healing in Our MidstWe recently experienced the healing power of God at work in our Tuesday a.m. Bible study group. One of the men had to go for a biopsy because a recent exam revealed a mass in his kidney. We addressed it in prayer and faith. A few of us laid hands on his side, commanded the mass to be gone and believing God for the healing to come. We also prayed for a smooth and peaceful biopsy procedure, something our friend had been a little bit anxious about. The day after the procedure, he reported that everything went very well and that, when the doctor examined him again, the mass was gone. Praise Yahweh Rapha, the Lord our Healer! June 3, 2006This month we have been moving ahead on developing more spiritual growth resources and taking care of some "behind the scenes" items at our website, changing servers and facilitating upgrades. We continue to enlarge our territory and cultivate the field of ministry God has assigned to us. Below are some of the new developments. Resurrection: A Manual for Raising the DeadThis month I designed a new book for Ben Peters, of Open Heart Ministries (I do cover design and book layout for other ministries on the side). It's called Resurrection: A Manual for Raising the Dead. It's a terrific book, and it really is about raising the dead, spiritually and physically (there's been a lot of that going on historically and even today). A couple of times, he gives a very good mention of our latest book, God's Word in Your Mouth, and we're delighted about that. You can find out more about and also about Ben's other books here at The Barefoot Bookshop.
New Cover for The Faith LogWell, every now and then you have to go back to the drawing board. And that's what we've done for our recent book, The Faith Log. We realized that the old cover was not expressing what we wanted to express, and was rather dull and dated. So I sat down at my Photoshop and created a new one with a much more vibrant graphic. I also reworked the fonts a little bit. The interior pages remain the same--no changes necessary. We think the cover is now much more inviting. Let us know what you think. You can find out more about this book here. Notes From Our Friends

May 8, 2006Good month, exciting times. Continuing in 1 John in our Tuesday a.m. Bible study. Had some wonderful times of leading worship. Laid down some vocal tracks for my brother Gary's new CD of chapel songs. Brother Greg has been producing that and getting some great instrumental backgrounds. Enjoying the Lord and having fun. Hope you are, too. God's Word in Your MouthOur new book is here: God's Word in Your Mouth: Changing Your World Through Faith. You can check out what it's about and even preview a sample chapter (in PDF) here. But for now, here is what one reviewer said about it: "God's Word in Your Mouth is, in my opinion, the best book yet dealing with the creative power of our words. Jeff Doles has clearly received revelation from God to share one mind-renewing insight after another. Jeff gives us clear understanding of the purpose of God in creating us and the power that He transferred to us to continue His mandate through us. This book is both highly revelatory and extremely practical. Every Christian needs the insights that are being released to the church of Jesus Christ through God's Word in Your Mouth." — Ben R. Peters, President of Open Heart Ministries, Author and Conference Speaker Every time I read that, it makes me want to go back and reread what I wrote. It is, of course, available from us at our website. But you can also get it at Amazon.com in both print and eBook editions. Virtual Book SigningThere are people from all over the country on our mailing list, and we probably won't be able to get around to your favorite store for a book signing. So we want to try a new idea—a virtual book signing. We can do this from our website. If you would like to have a signed copy of God's Word in Your Mouth, you can order it from our website. We use the secure PayPal server, which accepts credit cards and checks—and it also has a place for your comments, where you can tell me you would like to have it signed, and who you would like it signed to. If you happen to miss that when you order, don't worry—you can simply email that you would like to have it signed, and I can easily match it up to your order. (I will also be happy to do this for our other books ordered through our site.) Notes From Our Friends

April 3, 2006Is it just me, or does this year seem to be moving along a lot faster than last year? We've been keeping busy with the blog, the book (see below) and our regular schedule of teaching and worship. In addition, I led the worship again for the Kevin Ford meeting and also the Pat Halloran meeting at our church. The month finished with me singing at an appreciation event for the Stephens Ministry in our area. They do a very good job of ministering to people in the stressful times of life. The Holy Spirit just walked me through the presentation, which centered on one of my favorite verses: The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of disciples, that I may now how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens my ear to listen as a disciple. (Isaiah 50:4 NIV) That's how Jesus ministered; that's how I want to always minister. God's Word in Your MouthWe're putting the finishing touches on a new book, God's Word in Your Mouth: Changing Your World Through Faith. It is a collection of 22 of our most popular faith-building articles, edited together into one powerful package on the dynamics of faith, especially when our words are connected with God's. Scheduled release date for this book is May 2006. Prophetic Ministry: Strategic Key to the HarvestI've also recently finished doing the book layout and cover design for a friend of mine. The book is called Prophetic Ministry: Strategic Key to the Harvest by Ben Peters. Ben and his wife, Brenda, are the founders of Open Heart Ministries International, and also members of International Apostolic Ministries (the body that ordained me and Suzanne). Ben has written many book, which you can also find out about at this page. I've designed all his recent books, and did the redesign for all his older ones. Notes From Our Friends

March 3, 2006We love the Lord more and more all the time. In our Tuesday morning Bible study, we have been looking at the book of First John, considering the powerful revelation that we are not of the darkness, which is fading away, but of the light, which has already begun to shine (1 John 2:8). We are not of this present world system that is passing away (we are in it but not of it), but of that which comes from the Father and abides forever (1 John 2:17). We are of the Spirit, of heaven, of eternity, and we need to reflect more on our identity in Jesus Christ. We don't know exactly where we are on the journey, but it certainly is exciting.

February 5, 2006Had a great January with some wonderful times of leading worship and teaching Bible study. Our Tuesday a.m. group has started a study of 1 John. John has been called the "Apostle of Love" (although some people thought that title belonged to the late Barry White : ) So, if John was the Apostle of Love, perhaps we can call his New Testament writings the Gospel of Love, the Epistles of Love and the Revelation of Love. They are all about God's love-gift to the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. Healing ConferenceThe healing mission at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Valrico, FL went very well. I led worship throughout the day and we enjoyed a sense of the Lord's presence. I learned a while back that the way to lead worship is to watch for the leading of the Holy Spirit, and He always shows up. The second hour, we heard a strong teaching on dealing with unforgiveness, which we believe is a very important issue in healing. I taught the third hour, bringing a word on the authority we have for faith and healing prayer. It goes all the way back to the mandate God gave Adam, and which has been restored to us in Jesus Christ. We have the authority of Jesus' blood (by His stripes we were healed, Isaiah 53), Jesus' name, and the prayer He taught us to pray: "Kingdom of God, come. Will of God, be done on earth as it is in heaven." Afterward, Suzanne and I had the opportunity to pray healing over some people. I really enjoyed that part, particularly hearing the wisdom of God that flowed from Suzanne as we prayed together there. We look for more opportunities to teach and share about the healing ministry, to lay hands in prayer for people, and watch what the Lord does—the visions, the prophecies and the healings. IAM 2006This month we look forward (February 21-24) to the annual convening of the International Apostolic Ministries, the body that has ordained Suzanne and me. It is always a great time of fellowship, worship and teaching that boosts us into a new place in our walk with the Lord and the destiny He has prepared for us. The theme this year is on the revelation of the ministry of Jesus the Messiah as the rock upon which He is building His Church. Notes From Our Friends

January 5, 2006It has been a wonderful year of ministry. We think back on all the opportunities we have had to preach, teach, bring worship, minister healing, prayer walk, intercede and encourage people in prayer and faith, and we give thanks to the Lord. In addition to teaching the Tuesday a.m. Bible study, leading worship for the weekly School of the Spirit, and for the monthly Somebody Cares Pastor’s Lunch, we have also had opportunity to minister in conferences, seminars and churches. We also have a writing ministry, including our daily blog (The Faith Log), monthly faith-building articles, and books. In 2005 we also produced and published:
Ministry on the World Wide WebMuch of our ministry can be found at our website: www.walkingbarefoot.com. We don’t have the figures for the whole year, but since May 2005, we have had 183,621 hits from all around the world, including: 16,336 downloads of our
faith-building articles. Top 10 Faith-Builders Downloaded in 2005Here are the most popular faith-builder articles downloaded in 2005:
