Dear Barefoot Friends
Had a great January with some wonderful times of leading worship and teaching Bible study. Our Tuesday a.m. group has started a study of 1 John. John has been called the "Apostle of Love" (although some people thought that title belonged to the late Barry White : ) So, if John was the Apostle of Love, perhaps we can call his New Testament writings the Gospel of Love, the Epistles of Love and the Revelation of Love. They are all about God's love-gift to the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. Healing Conference The healing mission at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Valrico, FL went very well. I led worship throughout the day and we enjoyed a sense of the Lord's presence. I learned a while back that the way to lead worship is to watch for the leading of the Holy Spirit, and He always shows up. The second hour, we heard a strong teaching on dealing with unforgiveness, which we believe is a very important issue in healing. I taught the third hour, bringing a word on the authority we have for faith and healing prayer. It goes all the way back to the mandate God gave Adam, and which has been restored to us in Jesus Christ. We have the authority of Jesus' blood (by His stripes we were healed, Isaiah 53), Jesus' name, and the prayer He taught us to pray: "Kingdom of God, come. Will of God, be done on earth as it is in heaven." Afterward, Suzanne and I had the opportunity to pray healing over some people. I really enjoyed that part, particularly hearing the wisdom of God that flowed from Suzanne as we prayed together there. We look for more opportunities to teach and share about the healing ministry, to lay hands in prayer for people, and watch what the Lord does—the visions, the prophecies and the healings. IAM 2006 This month we look forward (February 21-24) to the annual convening of the International Apostolic Ministries, the body that has ordained Suzanne and me. It is always a great time of fellowship, worship and teaching that boosts us into a new place in our walk with the Lord and the destiny He has prepared for us. The theme this year is on the revelation of the ministry of Jesus the Messiah as the rock upon which He is building His Church. Notes From Our Friends

FAITH-BUILDER: Bless the LORD, O my soul,
Do this in remembrance of Me. (Luke 22:19)
The other day, as I went to the Table of the Lord, He put me in mind of Psalm 103. I had actually begun meditating on a different psalm at the time when 103 entered, unbidden, into my thoughts. So I went with it. Bless the LORD, O my soul,
Remembering. That is what the Lord’s Table is about, for it is a continuing sign of covenant. When Jesus took the cup, He said, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you” (Luke 22:20). “This do as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me” (1 Corinthians 11:25). The making of covenant is the shedding of blood, but the essence of covenant is in exchange: He gives me all that is His; I give Him all that is mine. Isaiah shows us a vivid picture of the exchange Jesus the Messiah made for us: (continued online ...) HIGHLIGHTS

We recommend this ministry resource to help you take the next step of faith in your walk with the Lord, and experience the power of God in your life, ministry and work: The
Order of a Son: In order for the purposes of God to be
sustained in this generation the Church must get a vision for the next
generation. In The Order of a Son you will discover the greatness
of this vision and how it can be implemented in the local church. Dr.
Mark Hanby provides a Biblical base that will enable the Church to meet
her future — in her sons. Without the true ministry of fathers to sons, there can never be a double-portion blessing to continue the LORD's work and the church will most certainly die in the next generation. True fathers will:
The mark of a mature ministry is one that desires sons and not just followers. "Biblical sonship is a position in Christ, not a gender. Dr. Mark Hanby has understood this powerful truth and explained it better than any other man I know." — Don Nori, Publisher, Destiny Image, Inc. You can find this and other helpful
