Who We Are

Walking Barefoot Ministries was founded in 1999 and is directed by Jeff & Suzanne Doles.

Jeff Doles is a Christian speaker, seasoned Bible teacher and worship leader with great enthusiasm for bringing out the life-changing, world-changing truths of God's Word. His desire is to see people activated in faith and joy as he preaches on the awesome presence and power of God. As a worshipper, he delights to lead in extended times of worship for those who desire to press into the "inner courts." His joy in the Lord is evident.

Jeff received the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of six and grew up in the Christian & Missionary Alliance church. After high school, he studied for the ministry at Florida Bible College, and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Education. While at college, he met Suzanne, who was also a student there. They have been married since 1978 and have two wonderful children: Michael and Sara. They live in Seffner, FL (about 10 miles east of Tampa) and are active members of Revival Outreach Center, Dover, FL.

Suzanne came to an active faith in Jesus Christ in high school and from there went on to Bible college, where she attended for three years. In the Summer of 2000, she experienced a deliverance by the Lord which released her from deep-seated fear. Since then, her faith has increased dramatically and she gives testimony to the healing power of God, on the theme of moving from fear to faith. Suzanne's faith, insight and support are an invaluable part of Walking Barefoot Ministries. Her story.

On February 27, 2003, Jeff and Suzanne were ordained to Gospel ministry and commissioned under International Apostolic Ministries, with the laying on of hands by the prophetic presbytery.

The WBM Mission

Walking Barefoot Ministries is preaching, teaching, worship, healing and revival ministry—to help you take the next step of faith in your walk with the Lord, to experience the presence and power of God in your life.

WBM was founded in 1999 by Jeff and Suzanne Doles to minister to churches, conferences, retreats, revivals and other Christian gatherings. With a fresh and gentle breeze of the Holy Spirit, they come to:

  • Minister the Word of God through preaching and teaching on prayer, faith and the healing power of God.
  • Establish an atmosphere of praise and worship that leads to greater intimacy with God and deeper expressions of love, faith and joy in His presence.
  • Bring encouraging words from the Lord to inspire, build up, and bring comfort and healing to His people.
  • Share the joy and enthusiasm of their faith journey with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Stir up the embers for revival fire and renewal in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are pressing in for more of the Lord,
to know Him more intimately,
love Him more lavishly,
praise Him more extravagantly.
To grow more in prayer and faith,
to experience more of His presence,
and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
To do the works of Jesus!

What We Believe

The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, that it is complete and without error, and that it is the authoritative rule for Christian faith and practice.

God

We believe that there is one God, Who is the maker of heaven and earth. That God is infinite, almighty, immutable, and perfect in holiness, truth, and love. That God is revealed in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God made flesh. That He is fully divine and fully human. That He was born of a virgin and led a sinless life. That He was crucified for the sins of the world, was dead and buried, and on the third day He rose again from the dead. That He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father where He ever lives to make intercession for His people.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. That He brings about the new birth, persuading men through the proclamation of the Gospel to repent and confess Jesus as Lord. That He is the counselor, guide, and sealer of our faith sent to indwell our lives. That He desires to fill each believer continually with power to witness, and imparts His supernatural gifts for the edification of the Church and the work of ministry in the world. That all the gifts of the Holy Spirit at work in the Church of the first-century are available today and are to be earnestly desired and practiced. That these gifts are essential in the mission of the Church in the world today

The Fall and Redemption of Man

We believe that man, in his natural state, is a sinner, lost, without hope, and without God. That man's only hope of redemption from sin is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. That salvation is received as a gift of God's grace through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That Biblical repentance is characterized by a changed life, and saving faith is evidenced by kingdom service.

Sanctification of the Redeemed

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the active agent in our sanctification and seeks to produce His fruit in us as our minds are renewed and we are conformed to the image of Christ. That as we are led by the Spirit, we grow in the knowledge of the Lord, freely keeping His commandments and endeavoring to so live in the world that all people may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven.

The Church

We believe that God by His Word and Spirit creates the Church, calling sinful men out of the whole human race into the fellowship of Christ's Body. That by the same Word and Spirit, He guides and preserves that new redeemed humanity. That the Church exists to worship and glorify God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That the ultimate mission of the Church is the making of disciples through the preaching of the Gospel.

The Sacraments of the Church

We believe that water baptism, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is an outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual reality. That in baptism, we are identified with Christ and His Church, demonstrating that we have been buried with Christ, and raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

We believe that the Lord's Supper is for those who have come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That it shows the giving of His body and the shedding of His blood on our behalf, and is to be observed throughout the Christian life as a sign of continued participation in the atoning benefits of His death. That as we partake of the Lord’s Supper with an attitude of faith and self-examination, we remember and proclaim the death of Christ, receive spiritual nourishment, and signify our unity with other members of His body, the Church.

The Second Coming

We believe in the visible, personal and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the translation of those alive in Christ, the judgment of the just and the unjust, and the fulfillment of Christ's kingdom in the new heavens and the new earth
