Growing in the
Prophetic
Mike Bickle has known both the exhilaration and the confusion
caused by prophetic ministry. As a young pastor not personally
inclined toward prophesy, he was taken by surprise by the
upsurge of the gift in his own church. Feeling almost ambushed
by God, he looked for help and advice, but with little success.
Thus began an often painful journey away from "prophetic
chaos" toward a clearer understanding of God's order. It is
out of this experience he now writes for all those who are
interested in seeing prophetic ministy developed in the church
today.

Mike Bickle is
director of the International House of Prayer of Kansas City, a
24-hour-a-day, citywide, spiritual warfare ministry. In addition
to being ministry director of Friends of the Bridegroom, a
ministry dedicated to equipping forerunners in the beauty of
God, he is also president of the Forerunner School of Prayer, a
full-time training school in Kansas City. Mike's teaching
emphasis is in the area of developing passion for Jesus through
the knowledge of the beauty of God. He especially focuses on the
bride of Christ and the message of the forerunner ministry in
context to a fasted lifestyle that proclaims Jesus as the
Bridegroom, King and Judge. He has a deep conviction of a
victorious End-Time church.
