Breakthrough Prayer
The Secret of Receiving What You Need from God

The Church God Blesses
God wants to transform his church into a people of power, joy,
and peace Jim Cymbala reminds us that Christianity is only as
strong as the local church and that God wants to bless our
churches in ways we can't possibly imagine. It doesn't matter
whether a church is alive and growing or barely surviving on
life support. God has a plan for it. It doesn't matter whether a
church is facing financial challenges, internal divisions, or
strife among its leaders. God has a plan for it. God is able to
deal with any problem a church will ever face—as long as his
people earnestly seek him.
God Is Searching for Churches to Bless—not a church that has
it all together or one that never makes mistakes or one that
rarely encounters problems, but a church that daily experiences
God's empowering presence

The Life God Blesses
Becoming People After God's Own Heart
"Cymbala's fourth book supports his thesis that God will
favor those whose hearts are genuinely open to him. In six brief
chapters, Cymbala alternates between biblical and contemporary
stories many about his parishioners to illustrate simple,
powerful messages about how people have succeeded and failed in
efforts to live a blessed life. He does a fine job of making Old
Testament stories accessible to a wide audience, and in doing so
shows how kings such as Uzziah and Josiah interacted with God
and reaped both blessings and sorrows, depending on the
condition of their hearts and the choices they made."

Fresh Power
Experiencing the Vast Resources of the
Spirit of God
(Also available in audio
cassette)
Amazing things happen when ordinary men and women are led and
filled by the Spirit of God. Yet how many of us can make the
same claim as Paul? We're good at teaching straight from the
Scriptures, but too many hearts and lives remain unchanged. We
need more than sound doctrine—we need the power of God.
With passion and conviction, Pastor Jim Cymbala of The Brooklyn
Tabernacle reminds us that in this sin-torn, heart-broken
culture, we cannot do without the Holy Spirit. And we can't
afford to presume his presence. We need to seek him with the
same fervor as the early believers.
Fresh Power will expand your vision for what God can and
will do, and inspire you to pray like never before for the power
of the Spirit in your church—and you.
"My prayer is that this book will cause the church to
examine itself. Have programs been substituted for prayer and
activities for life, and numbers for fruit? Repent of sin and
cry out to God for fresh power." —Anne Graham Lotz

Fresh Faith
What Happens When Real Faith Ignites
God's People
(Also available in audio
cassette)
Jim Cymbala calls us back to authentic, biblical faith, a fiery,
passionate preoccupation with God that will restore what the
enemy has stolen from us: our first love for Jesus, our zeal,
our troubled children, our wounded marriages, our broken and
divided churches. Born out of the heart and soul of The Brooklyn
Tabernacle, the message of Fresh Faith is illustrated by
true stories of men and women whose lives have been changed
through the power of faith.

Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire
What Happens When God's Spirit Invades
the Hearts of His People
(Also available in audio
cassette)
In 1972, the Brooklyn Tabernacle's spark was almost out. Then
the Holy Spirit lit a fire that couldn't be quenched. Pastor Jim
Cymbala shares the lessons he learned when the Spirit ignited
his heart and began to move through his people.
"This is an important book for all whose Christianity has
become still and sterile. Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire signals
that God is at work in our day and that he wishes to be at work
in our lives." —Dr. Joseph M. Stowell (President,
Moody Bible Institute)
"Lovingly but forcefully, Jim Cymbala calls us, the Church,
to look in the mirror, to repent of all our futile attempts to
do the work of the Holy Spirit, and to get back on our knees
where we belong. Only then will god supernaturally move to
accomplish His plan for our ministries and lives." —Dr.
Ron Mehl (Pastor, Beaverton Foursquare Church, Oregon)
